Pick-up at Aigle SBB station
Aigle station sits on the Simplon line, the main railway running along the Rhône plain between Lake Geneva and the Valais. Many of our passengers step off the train here heading somewhere with no direct connection, or at an hour when they would rather not wait for another train.
To keep things simple, tell us in your booking when your train arrives, how many passengers there are and what luggage you have. We agree on a meeting point outside the station together. If your train is running late, let us know by phone or WhatsApp: you speak directly to the driver, with no call centre in between.

Mountain train or taxi: choosing for your journey
Three regional lines leave from Aigle station: the Aigle–Leysin, the Aigle–Ollon–Monthey–Champéry (AOMC) and the Aigle–Les Diablerets. They are convenient, and we are not trying to replace them. A taxi makes sense in specific situations:
- you arrive late in the evening or very early in the morning;
- you are travelling with suitcases, skis or young children;
- you are a group of 5 to 7 people and can share the price of the whole vehicle;
- you are heading to a specific address rather than a train stop.
For Villars-sur-Ollon, the train leaves from Bex, not Aigle: a taxi to Villars from Aigle station saves you that change. The same goes for heading straight to your accommodation with a taxi to Leysin.
Local journeys from the station
Short trips make up a large share of our journeys from the station. A few examples in an E-Class (1 to 4 passengers):
- Ollon: 4 km, about 6 minutes, CHF 15;
- Bex: 10 km, about 12 minutes, CHF 38;
- Monthey: 11 km, about 15 minutes, CHF 42;
- Saint-Maurice: 14 km, about 15 minutes, CHF 53;
- Montreux: 16 km, about 20 minutes, CHF 61.
In a Mercedes V-Class, for up to 7 passengers and 10 suitcases, the rate is CHF 4.80/km. Journey times are always approximate and depend on traffic and weather.
