Local transport in Morgins and the valley
Not every journey is about skiing. Locals, second-home owners and visitors also call us for everyday trips: heading down to Monthey for an appointment, doing some shopping, getting to a station or coming home after a meal in the valley.
- Morgins → Monthey: 16 km, about 20 minutes, CHF 61 in an E-Class, CHF 77 in a V-Class.
- Morgins → Aigle: 27 km, about 30 minutes, CHF 103 in an E-Class.

Getting to Morgins from the valley
From Monthey, the road climbs via Troistorrents to Morgins. It is a mountain road that calls for experience in snowy weather: our drivers have been using it for many years, in summer and winter. During heavy snowfall the journey can take longer, and we will tell you when you book.
Arriving by train? We pick you up at Aigle station or in Monthey, depending on your route. Just include your train's arrival time in your request.
Morgins, Châtel and the Portes du Soleil
Morgins is part of the Franco-Swiss Portes du Soleil ski area. Just above the village, the Pas de Morgins marks the border with France, with Châtel, in Haute-Savoie, on the other side. In summer, Morgins takes on a different character: hikers, families on holiday and residents ask us for rides down to the valley, over to Champéry or to a station to catch a train. In winter, it is mostly arrivals and departures for ski holidays. Either way, the principle is the same: one price for the whole vehicle, based on distance and stated before departure. For an Aigle – Morgins return trip, allow CHF 206 in an E-Class or CHF 260 in a V-Class.
